Provider Analysis and Reporting (PAR) is a vital strategy used to assist the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CT BHP) in shaping and adapting the outcomes of the behavioral health delivery system in Connecticut. The PAR initiative is a quality improvement process with various action steps. Under this project providers are evaluated against generally accepted industry utilization and quality measures, using the provider’s own data and contextualizing it within the performance of the industry/state. Providers and staff from the CT BHP collaboratively develop goals to improve provider performance. Using data generated at the CT BHP, regular feedback and support is given to the providers regarding their performance.
